Terms of use
Quantum Litmus is an independent editorial project operated by Backloop Technology. These terms apply to quantumlitmus.com, including the Daily Reality Check, the archive, the knowledge graph, and the quarterly reports.
What this is
Quantum Litmus publishes informational and editorial analysis of quantum-computing evidence. It is not investment advice, procurement advice, engineering advice, legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or avoid any security, product, or vendor. Verdicts, readiness windows, and the Quantum Commercial Readiness Index are the editor’s judgments from the evidence cited. They are not statements of official policy by any company, university, or government, and they are not a professional engineering assessment.
Holdings
Where a report discusses public companies, holdings of the editor and of Backloop Technology are disclosed on that report. Those holdings do not determine which items are selected or how a verdict is reached. Quantum Litmus does not accept payment, sponsorship, or any other consideration to change a verdict, a rating, or the selection of covered material.
Sources and corrections
Reports rely on public papers, filings, company statements, and news reports, and they link to those sources where possible. Figures are tied to the evidence date stated on the page. A later result can change a later judgment without making the earlier judgment unreasonable. Material errors are corrected on the page, with a note of what changed. Send a correction through the contact form on the About page.
No warranty
Quantum Litmus and Backloop Technology do not warrant that the site is complete, current, or free of error. Market figures are dated snapshots, not live quotes. Read the cited source before relying on a figure.
Use of the site
You may link to Quantum Litmus and quote short passages with attribution and a link. You may not copy a report or the knowledge graph wholesale, present Quantum Litmus material as your own, or scrape the site for a competing product. Company names are used for identification. They are not a claim of affiliation.
Liability
To the extent Canadian law allows, Backloop Technology and the editor are not liable for loss arising from use of the site or from a decision made after reading it. Nothing on this page limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for a statement found to be defamatory.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Courts in British Columbia have jurisdiction over disputes about use of the site.
